San Diego-based Diamond Aviation has broadened its horizons by adding a Learjet 31A to its Part 135-certified fleet. This expansion marks a significant development for the company and signals its intent to grow its service offerings.

A New Addition to the Fleet

The newly acquired Learjet, marked with the registration N311EW and serial number 31A-060, brings an advanced level of versatility and capability to Diamond Aviation. With seating for up to seven passengers, this 32.3-year-old aircraft is set to offer a premium experience in comfort and performance. The Learjet 31A has been recognized for its reliability and speed, making it a valuable asset for a company focused on providing efficient and luxurious air travel solutions.

This aircraft has been based in the United States throughout its service life and was previously used for private operations. Now, under Diamond Aviation’s ownership, it will be operating out of San Diego McClellan Palomar Airport, located in Carlsbad, California.

Transition from Prima Air

Earlier this year, the Learjet 31A was the last of its type operated by Prima Air, another notable player in the aviation sector. Following its retirement from Prima Air’s fleet, the aircraft now embarks on a new journey with Diamond Aviation, an operator known for its dedication to quality service and customer satisfaction.

Strategic Growth and Improved Services

Diamond Aviation’s acquisition of this Learjet reflects a strategic move aimed at expanding its operational capacity and enhancing the range of services offered under Part 135 certification. The Learjet 31A is ideally suited for both business and leisure travel, providing a swift and smooth journey across regional routes.

The addition of this aircraft will allow Diamond Aviation to strengthen its position in the competitive on-demand jet charter market, attracting a diverse clientele seeking flexible and upscale travel solutions.

About Diamond Aviation

Founded with a commitment to delivering exceptional charter flight experiences, Diamond Aviation has steadily established itself as a go-to provider of private air travel arrangements in the United States. Operating from San Diego McClellan Palomar Airport, the company’s focus on personalized service, safety, and reliability positions it as a premier choice for discerning flyers.

Incorporating the Learjet 31A into its fleet underscores Diamond Aviation’s steady commitment to growth and excellence within the industry, ensuring that it continues to meet the evolving needs of its customers.
