The latest casualties of the COVID 19 pandemic are 100 maintenance engineers at Chorus Aviation. The 100 maintenance engineers based in Halifax NS got their layoff notices on Monday.

Chorus employees 3200 people across Canada that mostly support their capacity purchase agreement with Air Canada through Jazz regional airline.

Chorus announced earlier this year its plans to cut 65% of its staff amid the massive reduction in flights due to Covid-19.
