Just after 9pm on February 1 Westjet Encore flight 3107 operating from Vancouver to Terrace BC skidded off the end of the runway on landing in Terrace. Initial reports suggest the nose gear of the Q400 collapsed on landing. At the time of publication its unclear if this was the cause or the result of the aircraft departing the runway.

There were four crew and 42 passengers on board the flight, no injuries where reported. Passengers where transported to the terminal
